TUMAINI

It is said that a child is a wonderful gift one has to treasure and raise with love. Additionally over time humanity has the obligation to care and acknowledge that every child has a right to life and survival and to put it down in black and white commitment to ensure this happens.

Every child has a right to access decent housing, proper clothing, feedings, education and proper medical care.

It is anon-negotiable inclement and if not granted then there is no future for society.

The state has an obligation to ensure child’s survival and development.

Education is one of the vehicles through which a child is introduced to a journey of knowledge and skills that will enhance it a productive both economically and socially.

As a group (organization) that envisions a society that upholds and respects the rights of the child.

Child foundation will implement an education programme whose main objective is to improve education attainment through enhanced access, refection, and transition and improve quality education among all children in the project area’s regardless of gender.

Among the challenges that the project seeks to address is to build orphanage and appropriate sanitation facilities for girls and boys in school.

CF/CFG; Note that, due to the patriarchal nature of most, of our communities especially in the Ganze, Bamba and Bahari regions were culture is still Deeply rooted, the possibility of increases of early/forced married for girls is high.

Due to the potential risk of families loosing   their animals e.g. cows, goats’ etc, this is attributed to the high degree of poverty. This makes the families to seek to re-stock their animals through marrying off girls for dowry posing a treat to the education of many girls.

Child foundation wants to work closely with the ministry of education related ministries and the local communities in ensuring that the leaning environment in school is safe and gender friendly.
