Background

Child foundation group is a community-based group formed in the year 2009. the group is registered with the department of culture and social services Kilifi.   The group aims at bringing community members together so that they can work towards improving their standards of children for a better life and improving living standards of community members at large. Currently, the group has 15 members. The group members are actively involved in child activities, small- scale business and merry-go-round.

Children foundation group members have also initiated HIV/AIDS awareness and jigger eradication sessions during their meetings. This is meant to share correct information on the scourge. The group members also reach out to support orphaned children within their family set-up systems
